Dr. Milan Bhagat
Dr. Bhagat had spent his teenage years in Michigan. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit and earned a B.S.C degree in Computer Science with a minor in Biology. He then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts for his professional degree. After completing graduation he decided to further his education and completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry.
Dr. Bhagat has taken numerous classes covering different aspects of dentistry including pharmacology and pain management, endodontics, implant treatment planning, placement and restorations.Here at our clinic, every patient undergoes the best treatment, customized to reach high-end results. Our facility is equipped with high-end technology to provide superior diagnostics.
Dr. Blakiston
Dr. Leigh Blakiston
Dr. Leigh Blakiston is originally from southwestern Pennsylvania. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelors of science in nursing and went on to serve 5 years as an active duty nurse with the United States Navy. During that time she deployed to Kuwait for Operation Iraqi Freedom and on board the USNS Comfort for Hurricane Katrina Relief. While in the Navy Dr. Leigh set forth on her new path towards a career in dentistry. She resigned from the navy after marrying a Marine and lived in California and Northern Virginia while obtaining her prerequisites for dental school at California State University Monterey Bay, University of California Santa Cruz and George Mason University. Leigh attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During dental school Dr. Leigh and her husband welcomed three wonderful boys into their family. After graduation she practiced in the Hamptons Roads area. Upon her husband’s retirement from the Marine Corps they returned to Midlothian; the place where they want to settle down and call home. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and playing soccer.
Tammy
Check-Out Receptionist
Tammy has been in Dentistry for 30 years. She will be the face you see when you check out. She loves our dental community and Chesterfield County. Tammy has lived in Chesterfield her entire life and looks forward to seeing all our patients around town.
In her spare time she loves to read and spend time with her husband, two teenage kids, and 3 miniature Schnauzers.
Susan
Dental Assistant
Susan was a stay at home mom until her two children started school. She then went back to school and started assisting, which she is loving more and more each day and feels so blessed to have found a great team to work with.
Susan feels that Dr.Bhagat and Dr.Leigh work great as a team and have great ethical values which is why she loves assisting them. She always provides friendly and comforting chairside to the patients.
Denise
RDH
Denise has been a dedicated and passionate dental hygienist since 2006. In practicing her profession, Denise has learned that she values her relationship with each and every patient! Developing long standing and trusted relationships greatly improve her ability to provide the best dental care and advice for preventative treatments.
Denise also has passion for comfortable and beneficial dental care, which compels her to remain up to date on the latest research and patient education.
Denise is blessed to share her life with her amazing husband Cameron, their two beautiful young children Lincoln and Vail, and their beloved dogs. Outside of work, Denise enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, exercise, taking walks, good food, and spending time with great friends and family.
Summer
Office Manager
Summer joined our practice in May 2017 as a dental assistant. She has been a dental assistant since 1998. She earned her Associate in Science degree and completed her Dental Assistant Certification.
In 2020 Summer changed her role in the dentistry field to the Administrative side and became Office Manager. She will be happy to help you with any questions you may have regarding your treatment plan, and financial arrangements to achieve your healthy, beautiful smile. She loves being part of Chesterfield Dentist.
Her time away from the office, Summer enjoys spending time outside with her family & friends.
Cheryl Dreis
Front Desk Coordinator
Cheryl is a long time resident of Chesterfield. She has been in the dental field for over thirty-five years.She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant and eventually moved to the Administrative Office. Cheryl joined our practice in 2012.
Her goal in dentistry is when a patient walks through our front door is to make them feel they have stepped into a friendly and caring atmosphere. Cheryl is married and resides in Chester with her husband Dave and a sweet golden retriever named Lilly. She has two children and two precious grandchildren. Her favorite activities include working on crafts, exercising, gardening, cooking and traveling. One of her favorite places to travel is to Seattle, Washington to visit her daughter and grandchildren.
Cindy Combs
Dental Assistant
Cindy has been working in dentistry for over thirty years. She loves what she does and considers her patients as part of her extended family. Her goal at work is to make all appointments as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Cindy attended Virginia Commonwealth University and later married her husband Neal. They have two children, Kendyl who attends James Madison University & their son Brad, who aspires to go to Virginia Military Institute.
The entire family enjoys all beach activities and their favorite is scuba diving.
Mary Lewis
RDH
Mary has been practicing dental hygiene for over 30 years. She is very passionate about providing the highest quality care, educating patients about their dental health, and establishing long time and trusting relationships with her patients.
Originally from Northern VA, Mary graduated from NVCC in the year 1993. She has been married to her husband, Phillip, for 24 years, has a 19 year old son who attends VA Tech, and a brown tabby cat named Kitty.
Mary also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and working out at the gym.
