    We know you have many choices when choosing a Dentist in Chester, VA so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible. We do require a minimum of 24hrs notice if you find you cannot keep your scheduled/confirmed appointment with us. We value your time and appreciate you doing the same for us.

    Insurance and Billing

    We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. We will be happy to file your insurance claims for you, provided you can use an out of network dentist. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan through CareCredit. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

    We are a participating provider for the following dental Insurance companies:

  • We are happy to file all claims with any dental plan, providing you have the option to see an out of network dentist with your plan. Our office does not participate with all dental plans that may be offered by the above-listed Insurance Companies. We are not a participating provider for Medicaid / Medicare.

    We encourage patients to contact their Dental Insurance Plan to verify that we are listed as a participating provider for their plan of choice. We also ask that our patients make sure that if we are not a participating provider with their carrier, that you contact your insurance carrier to see if your plan allows to you and your family to go in network as well as out of network.

If you schedule an appointment and something comes up, please call and cancel 24 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patient requests.

    What to Expect

    Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that our doctors have all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. If you take any medications on a daily basis, please bring a complete list of medications with the doseage and the times daily that you take this medication with you.     Initial Examination

    Your initial dental exam will take around one hour. The expert staff at Chesterfield Dentist will ask you questions, get to know your oral hygiene routine, and listen to your health concerns. We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make good choices to improve their oral health. We will demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth then Dr. Milan Bhagat will complete your examination and make recommendations for proposed dental treatments.
